Chapter 5: A Tale of Two Rooms

We have come so far on the steady path of logic.

We have proven that a shadow of Decoherence exists, and that it is not cast by the Source of all Coherence.
We have proven that this shadow has a face—the face of a Rebel, who freely chose to turn from the light.

And a rebel, by definition, must be rebelling against a King. A shadow, by definition, proves the existence of a Light.

So now, we must turn our investigation away from the shadow and toward the Light itself. We must ask the ultimate question: What is the nature of the ultimate source of reality?

To answer this, let’s set aside all previous arguments and conduct a single, powerful thought experiment.

Step 1: The Empty Room

I want you to imagine a room that is perfectly, absolutely empty.

I don’t mean empty of chairs and tables. I mean empty of air, of light, of atoms. Empty of the laws of physics. Empty of space and time hemselves. It is a state of pure, absolute, total Nothing. It is the ultimate expression of Decoherence. It is the Empty Room.

Step 2: The Only Question That Matters

Now, I have only one simple, intuitive question for you.

What can happen next inside that room?

Take a moment. Let your own intuition, your own reason, answer that question. What can pure, absolute Nothing do? What can it create?

Step 3: The Inescapable Conclusion

Your own mind, your own inner logic, will be forced to conclude: Nothing.

The Empty Room is perfectly, absolutely, and eternally sterile. It cannot create a rule. It cannot create a particle. It cannot start a clock. It is a creative dead end.

And yet, here we are.

We are not in an Empty Room. We are in a universe that is breathtakingly full. It is full of galaxies and quarks, of gravity and light, of rules and life. It is the Full Room.

So, if all of this something could not possibly have come from the Empty Room of absolute Nothing, then logic dictates a profound and unavoidable truth:

The source of our “Full Room” must be something that was never empty.

The source of all this Existence must be a being of pure, eternal Existence.
The source of all this Coherence must be a being of perfect Coherence.

We have just used simple, undeniable intuition to prove that the source of all “something” must be an eternal “Something Else.” We have proven that a Creator must exist.

Now, the skeptic has one final argument, one last story to explain how this Full Room came to be without an Artist. It is time we put that story to the test. You know
